It was with a mixture of in trepidation and excitement when SMD accepted the invite to the inaugural Construction Enquirer awards ceremony at the NEC in Birmingham. Hosted by the TV “Amazing Spaces” presenter George Clarke the evening was a who’s who of the industry with many of the big names in attendance.
The category we had been shortlisted for was ‘Best Specialist Contractor to Work For’ in the category of £5 – £25m turnover.
We are pleased to announce that we made it into the TOP 10 . A proud moment for SMD as all the votes we cast be employees and suppliers, making this a true industry vote made by people who work for SMD or deal directly with us.
George Clarke was happy to pose with our Dan Williams (Dev Dir), Charles Walton (PM) & Richard Brokenshire (Ops Man) in receiving the award which now sit proudly in our offices.
