It’s been a full five years since SMD were the first decking company in the UK to launch a GRP void protection product to the construction market in the form of our VoidSafe® Protection System, offering a safety solution to cover voids in the temporary and permanent condition. Those of you who have used VoidSafe® will know the benefits it offers, but might not be aware of the research and testing behind the product, how it should be designed, how services should be incorporated or what other applications the GRP panels (RSG, Reinforced Safety Grating) can be used for.
