Following the large amount of interest with last month’s concrete CPD and questions raised regarding steel fibre concrete in particular, as promised, we have bought this CPD topic forward in reaction to that interest.
Steel fibres are a popular alternative to traditional mesh reinforced concrete for many applications. This presentation will introduce steel fibre concrete and the solutions available from our fibre partner ArcelorMittal Wire Solutions, with the main content of the presentation then more focussed on TAB-Deck®, the use of steel fibre concrete with SMD decks including some case studies and further useful references and tools available.
We will also be joined by David Monks, Head of Fibre Business UK & Ireland at ArcelorMittal Limited.
