Elements® Debugged!

You can now download or update to the recently published version 2.3 of our free design software, Elements®.  With minor bugs and improvements to the user interface, we’ve made it even better!

The Elements® software was developed to provide free software to clients, engineers, architects and specifiers enabling them to carry out complex slab or roof designs using our comprehensive range of high quality products with ease. There’s an intuitive tabbed interface, 3D design graphics and message pane that all help the user prepare compliant calculations with practical implications in mind.

So, what’s new with Elements® 2.3?

We’ve listened to feedback from existing Elements® users and have made some subtle tweaks to the software to make it more flexible to the user.  Some of the fixes and updates include:

  • Improvements to the advice messages in the loading grid for both floor and roof packages
  • Additional user functionality on psi values in the floor package analysis pane
  • Extended practical warnings for mesh sizes in shallow floor slabs

Always listening to our clients.

Our reputation comes from not only the quality of our products and installation, but also the relationships we foster with our clients.  We always take time to listen and address feedback, we make sure that we make life as easy and hassle-free as possible which is why we continue to strive for the best when it comes to our free resources such as Elements® and Technical Guidance Notes (TGN).

Did you know that you can also download our popular shallow floor products in 3D model formats?

Our R51+, TR60+ and TR80+ profiles data are available in 3D part formats for inclusion in your BIM design model. The BIM objects are available in Revit formats via BIM Store, on Tekla Warehouse and can be found on our website. The 3D models provide extensive COBie to meet BIM standard requirements, whilst also being simple enough in terms of render time to maintain modelling efficiency.
