The maximum span values in Table 8.1a are based on the following design criteria:

• Imposed Load of 1.5kN/m²
• Partial Load Factor of 1.5 (considering all loads as ‘Variable’)
• Imposed Load Deflection Limit of Span/200
• Wind Uplift of 1.5kN/m², subject to appropriate fixings
• Wind Uplift Deflection Limit of Span/150
