The maximum span values in Table 8.1a are based on the following design criteria:
- Imposed Load of 1.5kN/m² or Line Load of 2kN/m
- Partial Load Factor of 1.5 (considering all loads as ‘Variable’)
- Imposed Load Deflection Limit of Span/200
- Wind Uplift of 1.5kN/m², subject to appropriate fixings
- Wind Uplift Deflection Limit of Span/90
